TH & TH Junior
The junior range is TH&TH's answer to the girl who is too old for a flower girl dress and too young for a bridesmaid one. Same UK design house, same satins and chiffons as the adult bridesmaid range, cut for 8 to 14 years in a grown-up silhouette. We order every piece in from the designer. The questions below are the ones worth reading before you order.
Sizing & fit
Q: How do I work out her junior size?
A: Measure her chest, waist and hip, then match those to the size chart on this listing — the link sits beside the size buttons. The junior chart also gives hollow to hem, which is the front length from the base of her neck to the hem; check it against her height. Ages are a guide only.
Q: She is between two sizes.
A: Take the larger one. Taking a dress in is a simple job for a local seamstress; letting one out often is not.
Q: Junior or flower girl?
A: The junior range starts at 8 years in an adult-style cut; the flower girl range runs from 12–18 months up and reads much younger. If she is 8–10 the deciding factor is usually how she wants to look standing beside the bridesmaids — ask us and we will talk it through.
If she grows before the day
Q: She is at the age where she will grow.
A: That is exactly why the junior chart lists hollow to hem. Order for the girl she will be on the wedding day, not the one standing in front of you now — for a wedding six months or more out, most parents go up a size and have the hem adjusted a fortnight before. Send us her measurements and the date and our stylists will do it with you.
Ordering & delivery
Q: How long will it take?
A: Allow 8–12 weeks from order. Junior pieces are brought in from TH&TH for your order rather than held on our shelf.
Q: I need it sooner.
A: A rush service of 5–8 weeks is available for a fee. Message us with the wedding date before you order so we can confirm it for your style and size.
Q: She needs to match the bridesmaids.
A: Order the junior dress at the same time as the bridesmaid dresses. Dye lots shift between production runs, so ordering weeks apart is the usual reason two supposedly identical greens do not match.
Returns & exchanges
Q: Can I return it?
A: No. Junior dresses are made to order and cannot be cancelled, refunded or exchanged for change of mind, date or size. Be certain before you check out — that is what our stylists are for.
Q: It arrived faulty or wrong.
A: Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs and we will fix it.
Care & maintenance
Q: How do I care for it?
A: Dry clean only. Steam rather than iron, and test the steamer on an inside seam first — satin marks easily.
Q: How do I store it until the day?
A: Hang it in a garment bag out of direct light. Do not leave it folded for months.
Inspired looks
Styling ideas from across our junior and flower girl ranges — not necessarily this dress. We have no real-wedding photographs yet; when our couples send them in, these get replaced.

The details.
The Tilly Junior Bridesmaid Dress by TH&TH is for the girl who has outgrown a flower girl dress but is not quite a bridesmaid yet. It gives her the same grown-up satin the older girls are wearing, in a cut that is genuinely easy to wear all day.
The shoulder ties are why this one is so forgiving. Tie them higher or lower and the bodice sits exactly where it should on her — and you can loosen them again if she shoots up between the fitting and the wedding day.
Below the ties a soft cowl neckline sits over a fitted bodice, and the waist drops into a full satin skirt that falls to the ankle and swishes properly when she turns.
The details:
- Adjustable ribbon ties at each shoulder
- Soft cowl neckline over a fitted bodice
- Full tea-length satin skirt — sits at the ankle
- Fully lined
- Junior sizes 8, 10, 12 and 14 Years
Choosing your pink: Blush Pink is the soft warm pink most brides picture first. Smoked Blush is greyer and dustier, and lovely against cool, fair colouring. Rose Pink is deeper and more muted, with a little warmth in it. Cerise is a true vivid magenta, for a bridal party that wants real colour.
Styling it: the softer three pinks sit beautifully beside an ivory or white flower girl dress, so your little one and your junior read as one pair rather than two separate outfits. Cerise is the one to pick if you want the juniors to stand apart from the girls in front of them.
